Jerel Omar Anderson an artist from the motor citys own Detroit,MI. Born August 6th 1991 Rell-O was born. He had lived much of his life on the blvd, of Detroit and took a good grasp on hip-hop let alone music itself around the age of 9 yrs old. Began playing the electric guitar at the age of 11 and hasn’t stopped since, his prefrence in musical artist are as follows Young Thugga,Travis Scott,the weeknd,Kings Of Leon, Nirvana ect. He continues to perfect his craft and catch shows whenever possible. Striving specifically on the people and what they want their interest their needs all of these things push him forward in the possibility to give back to fans the way he truly wants to “qouting” Im trying to create artist while create myself as well”. Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Meius: Networking through twitter and I enjoy seeing how other people,company’s,and businesses are progressing and how there doing to reach there goals I’ve always been give to give to grow
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Meius: I grew up in Michigan moved around a little bit stayed in Washington state and D.C. for awhile. When it comes to music it found me more or less becoming an artist wasn’t really an if it was more of when. Music is in pretty much everything for me
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Meius: It represents family the inspiration for it was from loss in life and loved ones and all of that is me.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Meius: I believe online music sharing is expanding in sharing music and more to come with it when most people had a hard time doing that in earlier years.
I do give my music away for free at the moment even though I do charge for some of them. The reason why I do it is because sometimes something priceless doesn’t always need to be priced you know
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Meius: press forward towards your mark and expand yourself in every possible opportunity to do so. Stay true at heart to your music even if certain things in life’s miscellaneous doesn’t do the same with you, Network with the right people to get airplay the main idea is to expand and love what what your doing.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Meius: I have once and it doesn’t happen much since I’m hard on myself about being on key and even sometimes if it does i can capture a certain mess up that is actually perfect cause you will never get that same kind again. As long as it flows in with the song . But when it does happen I handle it with moving on and continuing the show
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Meius: I would love to tour and have yet to have that experience lol
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Meius: My songwriting process is sporadic sometimes it comes from all different angles and times.I never make the same kind of song, my inspiration stems from a lot of places in music to create my own.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Meius: I would invest,invest,invest, and maybe a small vacation and buy a lot of music equipment
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Meius: For sure I’m working with fruit loops right now and I need to upgrade real soon
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Meius: I search for promotional areas on the web blogs and basically any place on the internet that gives a chance of exposing new music
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Meius: Jimi Hendrix, kings of leon or Tupac for sure and at Coachella
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Meius: Yes I have my upcoming project MEIUS and it’s almost finished i don’t wanna talk about it cause it will be even better listening to it and then telling about it can’t wait
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Meius: Making music lol I would be doing something incorporating it through some form of different art
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Meius: Yes entirely I was setting there for almost a half hour looking for everything they had on that album and I was getting the jimi Hendrix experience so stoked that i had the money for it.I was thinking i get to finally have some kind of picture on my wall of some of my favorite music since I didn’t have money for the posters I wanted.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Meius: Everything in moderation
