Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

> Lil Snap I grew up in southside Baton Rouge . I was always in to music , I use to freestyle on the bus in fifth grade my friends liked it so I took it and made it a career.

> Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

> Lil Snap : we use to crack jokes at school and one of my friends started calling me snapping turtle, at first I use to be mad but so many people started calling me Lil Snap so I kept the name .

> Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

> Lil Snap I think that it’s pretty easy to get your music heard online , it a good way for people to get to connect with your music and yes I give away free music very often.

> Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

> Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

> Lil Snap I usually go off of how I’m feeling at that point and time ,o r sometime I have lyrics already wrote.

> Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

> Lil Snap I don’t have an official website yet but it’s in the process, but I do use facebook, twitter,instagram,and soundcloud all which I share my music.

> Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

> Lil Snap I would by me a nice house nothing over the top , but for the most part I would save it .

> Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

> Lil Snap the internet is my biggest promoter but I also do a lot of foot work with my hard copy CD’s hit the streets and pass them out.

> Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

>Lil Snap I’m currently working on my 4th solo mixtape I entitled “Give It Ur All” and I’m working on some more videos for my recent project “Young N Reckless”.

> Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

> working doing upholstery or hustling.

> Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

>Lil Snap I have a daily planner to help me keep up with all of my activities so that I can stay on track with my music.
