I was born and raised in Indianapolis . Stay in trouble then I started rapping.I been rapping for like 6 years now. My recent project that I’m working on is my mixtape called prank out.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Lil Loady: I grew up in Indianapolis ,Indiana. Growing up I always had a thing for music from the lyrics to the beat. I thought if this person can do it I can do it too, and maybe better
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Lil Loady: The name actually came from a song it really explains it’s self like I live up to my name.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Lil Loady: Online music sharing is a good way to get your music out there and heard from different types off people all around the world so it’s a good thing to me. Yea i give my music away free I pass out CD’s and online sharing. The reason I do that is because it’s another way to get your music heard through performing at open Mic nights.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Lil Loady: Just be patient and keep thriving for it. You have to be professional, If you act ratchet and talk like you straight up out the streets you not going to get booked they going to be like we don’t want to work with him/her because you acting ignorant and like you not about your business.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Lil Loady: In the studio or wherever I’m at. I usually go in the studio and get in my zone if I hear a beat I like I can just start writing and start rapping to see if it sound right.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Lil Loady: yes, you can hear my music on reverbnation just type Lil loady . I use YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. My Facebook is dread head loady ,Twitter is M.I.O.Ent and so is my Instagram.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Lil Loady: I’ll invest in businesses and after that I’ll take my family on trips to different places try new things to see something new. I know for a fact I’m buying my mama a house and I got several brothers and sisters and cousins so I guess I’ll say we will be doing alot of shopping. But for sure my mama and my daughter is gone be straight them two is my main focus to keep happy.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Lil Loady: I just go around passing out my Cd’s and go on social media just sharing my songs.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Lil Loady: Yes I have my mix tape coming out called prank out I’ll probably drop it some time this year and I’m working on some new songs. If you follow me on social media I’ll keep you inform.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Lil Loady: Thats a good question if i wasn’t making music I don’t know what I’ll be doing but I know I’ll be doing something ,something productive and positive.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Lil Loady: My music actually come last. Like as far as my daughter, my job and other responsibilities is gone always be ahead of my music, my music is something that I can do when ever I got spare time I just go in the studio and go in. I’ll always be able to juggle and balance it all out.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Lil Loady: Collaboration with new upcoming artists,I’m working on a mixtape I’m pretty sure they would like it so they can look forward to good music.
