Lil Cill is a No genre Artist, he was not all in to making music till he was 16 Sept 5 2015 and he’s learning more and more as he grows and makes music, Lil Cill was born in kenya but when he turned 3-4 he came to Tucson Arizona & was raised there his whole life, so he has no memory of him being in Africa, many people confuse him for a regular African American, Lil Cill was raised without a father no one was there to actually tell him right from wrong & everyone believed he was headed the wrong way in life. After hearing Lil durk & chief keef, Cill decided to make his own music because he had things in his life that he could put in music & it kept him from being another black kid in jail or dead, Lil Cill is currently in high school & he believes without education you will not make it in life, so Lil Cill has his whole life planned if the music do not work for him, Cill got his artist name from a girl from his past that he would never get along with but did have a friendship with the girl & her name was Priscilla. Cill’s real name is “Abdikadir Abshirow”

Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Lil Cill: I was looking through Google trying to find little ways to promote myself and I had clicked on exposed vocals & it was pretty legit my guy so I added them on my twitter & I did what I needed to get exposed.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Lil Cill: I grew up in Tucson AZ the underestimated goons be there.I decide to become an artist because I’ve heard so many good music from Lil Wayne, to young thug, to Lil durk, chief keef, it inspired me & I would always have all these lyrics that want to be heard so I just got in homes studio & did my first song & people we’re in to it so I kept trying to do more.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Lil Cill: I came up with my name because of a female friend that would irritate me & every time I’m annoyed by a girl she came to mind & I also had love for her, so I just used the “Cill” in Priscilla.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Lil Cill: I think online music sharing is ckoo & I have gave away music for free, it is because I’m trying to get my music heard from more than one person, I want to share it with as many people as I can before I charge people in a couple of years.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Lil Cill: All I got to say is to invest in yourself because if you don’t it’s harder to get at the level you want to be at in the music industry.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Lil Cill: yes I make mistakes but I flow through it, I’m really good at vibing to music & keeping the crowd hype, it’s hard to notice I’m making mistakes.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Lil Cill: I have not started touring I’m hoping to start 2017 maybe earlier if I get more love & support.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Lil Cill: I usually use my notes on my phone & I write my song than find the instrumental.

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
LilCill: I don’t think there’s any embarrassing music in my phone.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Lil Cill: I would invest in my music, get out there promote everything & get my music on WSHH & more.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Lil Cill: I’m working on remixes to Lil Bibby Aww men, Lil herb Retro flow, O.T Genesis Cut it, they will come out hot believe dat.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Lil Cill: the social media is what I use & have people I know share it all over Facebook.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Lil Cill: I would go with Lil Wayne or Chris brown at NY because I’ve never been there, Lil Wayne is my idol & Chris brown I like the way he performs & leaves the crowd with excitement.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Lil Cill: I was supposed to drop my NMOTM mixtape march 1st but I had to push it back because there’s other things going on.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Lil Cill: if I wasn’t making music, I would be in sports, I’m a really good baller & soccer player.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Lil Cill: I do not remember buying my first album.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Lil Cill: it’s very tuff but I just have this schedule organizer on my phone it keeps me up to speed & on the dot.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Lil Cill: they should look forward to all the noise I will be making, all the great music I’ll have out there.
