Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

King Kev: I grew up from the streets of La , California and listening to rap music made me decide that I would like to make my own music

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

King Kev: I came up with the name King Kev , cause im a King to girls eyes and Kev is short for Kevin

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

 

King Kev: I think online music sharing is good for people my age because we love music , and I have let people hear my music for free on twitter/soundcloud

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

King Kev: Love what you to , don’t let people bring down your success , keep fighting and you will get their

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

King Kev: ? I gather inspiration by how I feel , if I feel moody ill make a slow song if I feel happy ad exited I will make a turnt song , something to keep people moving

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

 

King Kev: I have soundcloud , for people to hear all my music

 

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

 

King Kev: If I was given half a million dollars , I would first get my family a house , pay off theirs cars , and buy my baby sister and baby brother things they like , all the money would go to them because the have been through the bad things and good.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 

King Kev: I share my music on twiiter , so they can listen to it , and I also tell people at school so they can listen to it and sync it

King Kev: I will make a whole album , named King of La

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

 

King Kev: If I wasn’t making music I would be lost , probably doing stupid stuff to get m in trouble

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

King Kev: I go to school for 8 hours , then com home and do some chores if they tell me to , then I lock myself in my room to do homework then , start coming up with a subject and make verses to them with a beat that matchs the theme
