Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Well, I grow up in Villareal, a small city from Spain, and I decided to become an artist when I was six,the day that I meet my first guitar.

 Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

My real name is:Josep Asensio Limo, in Spain we have a second and third name.
In school, all my class maids called me Limo or Joe,this helped me to come up with my artist name(Joseph Limo).

 Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

I agree with online music sharing.It’s for me one of the best ways for not known artist start to get known. But once you want to start to live of music you need to put a price to your art,work and time,somthing difficult for us.Fans an people that support your music understand this situation and they buy your music and go to your shows.Some times I still give free music to my fans it’s the  way I say them thanks for all your support.

 Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

My tip for them is to be creative with their music,work out your music style, don’t do the same that other artist do.
Do what you believe and work hard. This will help you to be listen and will give you gigs on a future.

 Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Well, inspiration can come from everywhere. Travel is a good way to learn new things and can help you to write and produce better songs.
I realy don’t have a process depends of the song and the singer that I am going to work with.

 Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

I’m now working to make a(Joseph limo website).But i love socialmedias,they let’s you share opinions and have conversations with people that likes your music .I like to use twitter:@josephlimotwitt and facebook were you can found my official joseph limo page.

 Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

I will learn about other music generas and I will spend that money in my music career.

 Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

My dj sets, festivals where I play, and social media are the best ways to promote my music.
the best way to promote your music is having good music.If you have good songs radio stations, tv ,and other platforms where you can promote your music ,will like to use your work and that will help you to grow up like artist.

 Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

I have created a group called ARCTIC DREAM with Albert Sander,( dj and producer from spain).
We are working on new edm tracks, here  our firts song named (follow me)we hope that everyone enjoy:

 Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

I don’t know music it’s my live.

 Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

I try to have time for my family and try to not think about work, but is very difficult.

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

ARCTIC DREAM new singles and before summer it’s possible that I make new Joseph Limo music for the lable Soulparty records.
