I am DylanMarshall I am an upcoming artist from Scotland, I realised my passion for music at a very young age it’s what I’ve always wanted to do, I couldn’t imagine life without music
Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Dylan: I heard about Exposed Vocals when I was looking for different platforms to help me get my music out and I stumbled across you guys on Twitter.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Dylan: I Grew up in Scotland, I decided to become an artist when I was young because it’s what I had a dream to do I want to make music and be noticed for what I do.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Dylan: I’m actually using my own name as I want to be noticed for my music and what I do, hence my name being used
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Dylan: I think online music sharing is great, it’s a very good way to get your music out there for the public to hear, my music is on my soundcloud free of charge for all to hear.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Dylan: just be yourself when you make your own music and stick to being positive and happy with what you are doing
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Dylan: all the time, if you make a mistake you have to forget that it happened and move on and enjoy what you are doing relax and enjoy the moment.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Dylan: I currently don’t tour, but hopefully soon.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Dylan: my inspiration comes from lots of different artists, I love listening to lots of different styles of music.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Dylan: I currently have a Twitter,Instagram and a soundcloud which the public are free to check out anytime.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Dylan: I don’t really have any Embarrasing music, I listen to a lot of new music from what has just been released.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Dylan: Make Music and Travel.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Dylan: I’m working with a small setup right now but I hope it will get better with some upgrades in the coming future.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Dylan: I promote my music on Twitter and Instagram so my followers can listen and so the public can see it.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Dylan: Definitely would have to be Calvin Harris, at a festival like T In The Park or Glastonbury.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Dylan: yes new music is coming soon. Stay tuned all
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Dylan: if I wasn’t doing music I would be at college, but I couldn’t imagine life without music.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Dylan: Yes my first album was Calvin Harris – 18 Months album i don’t regret buying it because it is very good
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Dylan: I try to stick to a schedule of every day life with to do lists.

Dylan: A lot more music coming soon
