exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where you grew up? What made you decide to become an artist?
DJ JLP: I grew up in the city of Juiz de Fora in Minas Gerais in Brazil, Well it was like a joke, I intended not to become DJ more a friend of mine needed a 15-year party for Dj her and I was told if she wanted to help, she ended up putting me as the party Dj, and I was so afraid to spoil the party decided to go making the songs to see how I was going to leave me, and so far I’m doing well
exposed Vocals: How do you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
DJ JLP: Well it’s more because of my name even my full name is Josue Laureano Pereira, some friends started calling me LP because of my surnames so I had the idea of putting JLP that’s my whole name
exposed Vocals: What do you think about sharing music online? You never give your music for free? Because?
DJ JLP: I think it’s because of the online sharing that great artists are born, grow, Yes I give my music for free, I just want to hear my music and enjoy it and have the pleasure to walk down the street and hear it playing in a house in a car
exposed Vocals: Once everyone was a start-up once, you can give any smaller bands or local artists looking to get shows and AirPlay some tips?
DJ JLP: Good as I am beginner, only tip I can give is more like an advice, if you have a dream believe, fight and win, because life is too short to be giving heed to what does you good
exposed Vocals: Where do you usually meet up inspiration? What is your usual composition process?
DJ JLP: Well I hear a song like it and start to do the mixing, I’m more or less 1h 30min concentrating, for then yes I start up
exposed Vocals: You have a site band? Which online platforms you use to share your music?
DJ JLP: I do not have site band yet, Soundcloud use Dreammy
exposed Vocals: If you had half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How do you spend it?
DJ JLP: Well I think it would travel to Dubai, and then save to use in case of need, I think if I had the money would not let the fame me up the head because I know my origins
exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
DJ JLP: For social networks, Soundcloud, what works best for me I think it is the help that my friends give me them share the songs, and they will spread, and I’m glad to hear they are enjoying
exposed Vocals: So what’s next? Any new future projects that you want to talk?
DJ JLP: Well I have no new music to share more soon we will have another, good project think it’s still too early more plan to do a lot of parties, and create a song in which all countries will listen, that makes a huge success
Exposed Vocals: If you were not making music, what would you be doing?
DJ JLP: I’d probably be in a football field, playing ball with my friends
exposed Vocals: How do you handle the rest of their responsibilities when trying to get ahead in your life music?
DJ JLP: Type I do not face the music as a job but as a fun, my responsibilities as a study, train I think that I can do, do the music in my free time
exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
DJ JLP: Well I want you to help me grow, they are sure to like the next song, and my dream is realized reaching the tomorrowland
