Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

Davv-O $tacks: I Was born in Bronx, New york, I Currently staying in Kinston, North Carolina and what made me become an artist was Around the Time that Jerkin Movement was out and this was back around 2012 I think … I was looking at soujla boy and he was touring and etc when I was young I always wanted to do some kind of entertainment …. When I Was Young we even had a group form called SLK

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

Davv-O $tacks: Davv-O Stacks Came From My Real Name Davin, People in School People Called Me Davv so I change my Name To Davv-O like Steve-O and Stacks Came From me liking Money

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Davv-O $tacks: Online Music sharing I like it because the Fact different people around the world listen to your music and yes my music do have free download of course

 

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Davv-O $tacks: Well invest in yourself and share your music and try to connect with the right people

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

 

Davv-O $tacks: How I Feel that’s why you have Your squad there to turn up and help you, if you do fuck up but … I mean once you do your performance it’s your stage so you turn up regardless

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

 

Davv-O $tacks: No I don’t tour, hopefully I will see that Day to Tour and have My On tour Call Just Party & Bullshit Tour

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

Davv-O $tacks: My Head Basically Everything I Seen and Heard …. And my maybe Even I Smoking Spliff or so I get a lot of inspiration

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

 

Davv-O $tacks: No I Don’t Have an official Band Website, but I share My music on twitter, Facebook, Reverbnation, AudioMack and Most deff Soundcloud an etc

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

 

Davv-O $tacks: I Really don’t Get Embarrassed about songs I listen to Because if it Catch My Ears and I like it I’m listen to It, But I think it’s by Vanessa Carlton Song Name Thousand miles … lmfao

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

 

Davv-O $tacks: I Will Travel and invest More in My Music and Get My Own Place and probably make sure the people that help me is good

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

 

Davv-O $tacks: Well I’m young plus I Got a Home Studio so I’m Producing My Own stuff really

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 

Davv-O $tacks: I Pay People that Promote Music, and share My Music With a lot of People

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?

 

Davv-O $tacks: I would Perform with Swaghollywood, Wiz khalifa, Lil Yachty, Famous Dex, G Herbo, Lil Flash, and Chief Keef

 

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

Davv-O $tacks: Will I Still Working on My First Mixtape and ideas on that But I Have a New Single Coming up Called Party & Jus Bullshit

 

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

 

Davv-O $tacks: Probably in The Streets, just Try to make money By Any means and just I guess Job hunting, Smoking Dope like always and just Kick Back with the Guyz and plot to Come up

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?

 

Davv-O $tacks: I Really Can’t Remember the First Album I Brought … Internet Was invented.. I never bought one

 

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

Davv-O $tacks: Just Making Time Day & Night I Barely Sleep as it is But I Just Move Around and Some days I just Stay Home and just think about New songs to make and etc …. You have to be open minded

 

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

 

Davv-O $tacks: Fans Should Be looking For More Firee Songs, and a New Wave of style of Music Coming, Hopefully this is the Year my dreams come true
