Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Daye-aftahtmm I’m from the l.e.s (lowa east side ) I grew up there all my life there’s a lot of culture down here with hip pop graffiti, rapper, battle rapper, brake dancers . we have it all I guess I first wanted to be an artist the first time I heard usher I would run around the crib singing you got it bad try a dance his moves lol I was never much a dancer tho
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Daye-aftahtmm Many different inspirations on my name but I said it as a joke one day and it kinda just stood but for a little details I’m just always try a be in the future on step a head so while every one planning for tmm I’m planning for the next day
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Daye-aftahTmm: of course I do I make music for the love it and for the fans of course everything can’t be free cause I need to eat
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Date-aftahtmm: Yea it’s all about your work ethnic you work hard people gunna see that and wanna fuck with you and don’t listen to what any one is tellin you music has no boundarys never be one dimensional
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Daye-acts hymn I gather all my inspiration from real life events that took place in my life mostly on my first love but all my song are from different perspectives so you never know if I’m taken your girl in my song or the one gettin Cheated on. My mind is like a puzzle what I write to day might go with the hook I write tmm and most of the times I have to smoke and have positive vibes around me.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Daye-aft why’ll: don’t have a website runnin yet but soon and right now only place you can hear my music is sound cloud but my first projects gunna drop soon everywhere
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Daye-aftahtmm: First I would give back to the community then I would make sure I visit as many ancient cities as possible in that amount of time I’m very in to history but unfortunately no time for days off got keep grinding at a milli
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Daye-aftahtmm Social media but I guess the best way is to have actual music promoters to do it I just put my music out there not caring what people think if you love me you love me if you hate me you hate me
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Date-aftahtmm: My first project is gunna be called daze downtown mostly produced by Marc smoker and should be dropping in August no official release date yet tho. But it’s gunna be a fresh new sound for New York
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Daye-aftahtmm: I would be a philosopher/ historian
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Daye-aftahtmm: it’s not hard a lot of sleepless nights but this is my passion I could never complain about the process

daye-aftahtmm: just a whole new seen in the New York hip pop and r&b and a lot of new songs
