Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Conscript: Hi, We are from Derby in the UK,
We all love music and after going to so many gigs and seeing friends play in bands we thought we would give it a go!
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Conscript: Haha we have no idea how we came up with it, we were shooting ideas to each other and that came up and we all just loved it! haha
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Conscript: Online music sharing is a great idea because it spreads your music easier with like minded individuals and you get to hear some really interesting tracks.
At the moment we are not giving music away, but I’m sure in the future we will most certainly be treating our fans!
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Conscript: We are pretty new ourselves but i would say the most important thing is to make friends instead of just trying to push your music on people,

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Conscript: Movies are a main source of inspiration as well as ideas that have been in the making for a while, finally get a chance to be used.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Conscript: We have Soundcloud and Facebook atm.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Conscript: We would write some kick ass music and build ourselves a studio to work in! Also gig A LOT haha
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Conscript: We are using Twitter a lot atm and also Facebook seems to help us connect with our fans easily.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Conscript: We are busy atm creating music and promoting ourselves about the place, we will be looking to get our EP out in the next few months!
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Conscript: Haha I don’t think any of us would do much else apart from football and playing video games haha
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Conscript: With difficulty haha, no its steady actually we are all good at working around each other and we try not to restrict creating music to just a day or a night
in a week.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Conscript: Our EP and coming to see us live!!
