Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Bungle: I grew up in Jersey which is a small island in the UK. Both my parents are music teachers so it’s always been a big part of my life and making music kind of came naturally.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Bungle: I got it cos people found it hard to pronounce my surname cos it’s french and I just got stuck with it one summer.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Bungle: It’s great as long as the artist is okay with it, like with sites such as Spotify are really great just for chilling or finding new songs. Yeah I give it away for free cos I don’t see why not I would it to be easy to listen to.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Bungle: Make the right friends, having someone with contacts in a production company or studio can be pretty handy when trying to meet the right people.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Bungle: Most of the time I sit in my room and fiddle with Logic until I find something that I want to shape my piece around.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Bungle: Probably choose to not go to Uni and just go travelling cool places, I’ve always wanted to go somewhere in Asia. Either that or set up a really expensive workplace in my room.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Bungle: I’ve found that sharing my music online on social media sites has helped gain attention, Twitter is a good platform for that kind of thing.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Bungle: Well I’ve got my A levels to finish then after that I’m thinking of doing some group work with a friend of mine over summer. Expect many cool things.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Bungle: I’m not what I would do otherwise as it’s such a big part of my life but if I had to pick I would choose to do something in psychology maybe?
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Bungle: To be honest I’m still figuring this out at the moment. I think the best way to look at it is to manage your time well so you’re still able to fit music in around all the necessary stuff.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Bungle: A few new instrumental tracks over the next couple of months then possibly a few more acoustic based pieces over summer 🙂
