Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

BH: I grew up in Northeast Philly. What made me decide to become an artist is that I’ve always had that imagination and creativity since I was a kid. Me and my cousin always did some type of music together but at the time he was more into the band thing, so It really all started   sophomore year in highschool when a couple guys were freestyleing before homeroom outside the lockers, I jumped in and start spitting and things took off from there

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

BH: ha originally it was bhb Bob hellraiser beck cause I liked to raise hell with the lyrics , I just dropped the B later cause BH flows better

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

BH: personally I’m not a fan . indi artists who go to the studio and pay for time need to make back that money plus more. So unless it’s for a good cause I see no benefit of it. It’s actually ruining music cause even your major artists don’t put out quality music cause of music sharing

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

BH: yes most def don’t pay to play. Some places look to take advantage of an artist looking for exposure .it isn’t worth it cause you’ll have a hole in your pocket in the end and feel and look like a fool. Just hustle build your fan base, do open mics and things will come

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

BH: life experience I use my past my present and what I look towards in the future to write songs. I also use raw emotion so my songs come angry, heartfelt ,inspirational or all of the above.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

BH:  it wouldn’t be on music honestly I’m a little older now with more responsibility so half a million ID buy a bigger house for my family to live comfortable in and go away somewhere

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

BH: social media and word of mouth I don’t like giving music away but I’m not stupid either gotta give the fans something to receive

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

BH:  currently my 3rd album entitled “Robby raw” is being mixed .It will have music with live instruments promising a fresh new sound from your boy BH

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

BH: writing books

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

BH: I prioritize. Family is always first ,work ,followed by what’s going to pay the bills so if music has to be put on the back burner for a min that’s what I do. But I always drop a line on Twitter to let cats know I’m still here

BH: simple I’m back but I never left you young bucks were just keeping the mic warm for me
