Exposed Vocals Interviews Beardy
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Beardy: I grew up in the Cincinnati Ohio area. I started out doing stand up, and I love making people laugh, then I transitioned that into music.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Beardy: I came up with Beardy simply because I have an amazing beard. I sing about beards, and other funny things as well.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Beardy: I strongly suggestion online music sharing. It helps spread the word and builds up potential. Yes, some songs get given out, but some sell, simply because I need to make a little bit of money 🙂
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Beardy: never give up on yourself, take the negative and turn them into positive.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Beardy: I just surf the web, and what ever is making people laugh, I try to put into my music.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Beardy: yes, it’s BeardyMusic.com and I share my music via Twitter and iTunes, and all the online stores.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Beardy: invest. I’d invest in something special that I would never forget. Charity’s, and providing for family and friends. Never need the time off though! Lol
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Beardy: I’m pretty popular on Twitter, so I tweet the music and people find it that way.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Beardy: always. I have a new song coming out focused on Booty! Lol songs called Booty, and it’s going to drop soon. Still recording and doing minor things, but I want it to be perfect and catchy.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Beardy: more than likely stand up. Making people laugh.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Beardy: I look at music as a hobby, and making life easier for me. I love making people laugh, would u rather deal with happy people or mean people?
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Beardy: pardon my French, but some funny ass music! Look out!
