Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?

Through the Internet, precisely through twister. After receiving messages from you, I visited your website
and read more about your activities. I’ve found that Exposed Vocals is a very interesting and useful place for artistis.
Therefore I am here. Together we can do more 🙂
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Baum Electronic :
Western Poland. In Wroclaw city. Near the area where ‘gold train’ had been found. I’m sure you may have heard about it.
It’s a beautiful country and the city of Wrocław officially starts its year as a European Capital of Culture. There will be a lot of projects,
so we welcome you. Why am I become an artist? It’s my passion and perhaps also it’s because of my grandfather, who was musician in the opera.
I’ve always wanted to describe in my own way the world around me and transmit my emotions. In some sense we are all artists.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Baum Electronict:
I knew I had to called my project somehow. I thought about it, and after some time came a very strong thought in which it was concluded the answer:
“Baum” [tree in german], and I just added consciously ‘electronic’. Now, everything works.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Baum Electronic:
I think that this is the future, and not Just for the music business. You have to be open and change existing schematics of thought.
These solutions exist to help almost anyone who has something to present. On the other hand, open access to culture develops other
people and developed society is the foundation of peace on earth. As an artist, I share music for free, but as a manager I sell it.
Not everything is for free.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Baum Electronic:
Be yourself. Keep your identity. Listen to your intuition. Believe in what you are doing. Do not move away from the source.
Do not think about what others think and prevailing canons of fashion. Play and sing honestly and from the heart.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Baum Electronic:
The moment is import and if sometimes, something comes out differently, I can only say that this is the law of nature.
I have no problem with that because for me my art. is alive. So this is the life, and everything can happen on stage.
Another thing is the technical failures. Well, one can play without electricity but not me – because of my electronic project.
I can not handle on the stage without electricity.
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Baum Electronic:
I pay attention to play in interesting places and every performance was different from previous. I prepare individually to each concert.
Along with my music, I present on-screen visual designs of other artists who cooperating with me. I also try through my performance,
emphasize my support for some idea for example: help for people or animals.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Baum Electronic:
It comes like a fog. You feel that it’s time for creative work. You begin to create and it’s like you being helped by someone in this.
Opens a channel of inspiration. Wonderful feeling. Picasso used to say that the most important is the moment of creation.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Baum Electronic:
Sometimes it something from the past. Something passe and today can be embarrassing, but regardless of this I still have the great memories with it.
I do not want to offend anyone so I will not give specific performers.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Baum Electronic:
I’d have to do some traveling around the world. Meet other people and their habits meet new friends. After coming back I would build a new studio and I would give my best in this job. I would invite other artists to collaborate. There would be a beautiful artistic platform.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Baum Electronic:
Last year was busy and I spent several compilations on bandcamp. At the moment I’m working on the release of the album that would focus the essence of my current activities.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Baum Electronic:
My music is a difficult art. It does not fit on the typical hits playlist. Presentation on some music portals is ok. I think that the best promotion for me is the soundtrack to the movie. I haven’t had that chance yet.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Baum Electronic:
Robert Fripp but I am happy to work with anyone who can tune in to the vision which I adore. I’m open.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Baum Electronic:
I create as always in my style as a ‘baum electronic’, but more often I’m working on a style which I call ‘music of silence’. Such a minimal ambient. This is a new area for me and I intend to penetrate it. I haven’t presented it yet, because they’re drafts. This project takes more and more of my attention.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Baum Electronic:
I earn money to live on as a tradesman, so maybe I would be just a trader. Music is my second, parallel profession. If I could combine that I see myself as a music publisher. I could also be a merchant.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Baum Electronic:
The first album was a ‘New Horizon’of polish group – SBB, beautiful progress. The first foreign album was King Crimson and his “In the Court on the Crimson King”. Until today this album is magic for me.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Baum Electronic:
If you do it with passion you are simply ‘swim and do not expect anything’. Music makes me
pleasure and in this area I’m not going to chase anyone. Between real artists tere is no rat race.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Baum Electronic:
Interesting sound setup. Music which is not available every day in radio stations. I have a lot of ideas and certainly deliver a lot of joy to my faithful fans.
