I’m Andrew Migogo (God fearing, a Son, Husband to an amazing wife, a Father of 2 amazing Children & a brother). I consider myself a humanitarian as I have a passion towards human welfare ever since. That is why I have decided to create a twitter account in which I send out positive and uplifting tweets to other users. This is because I believe that everyone is undergoing something in their life and sometimes, they just need to find or read something that would inspire them and would make them feel better. I have the goal of continuously providing such quotes until everyone’s lives have been touched by it. I am also here to allow everyone who reads my posts to be the best that they can be.

For me, twitter has been a means to share my wisdom to others. It is a way for me to help people have a positive outlook about the world. Also, my tweets reflects my opinions, beliefs, thoughts and emotions. They also contain the things that I agree about as well as the things that I wanted to see in this world that we are currently living in. I want them to realise that hope is still within reach. Apart from that, I want to keep the spirit of those who would be reading it up, as I know that it would be of help to them in living their lives somehow.

Apart from posting uplifting tweets, I am also into blogging. As a matter fact, I really love blogging a lot. I love how it allows me to share things with others in my own special way. Just like my tweets, I write blogs that would help inspire people, despite of what they are currently facing and experiencing in life. You can expect that I would be supplying quality content and content that are truly worth your time reading.

I also provide one on one advice with some of my followers. If you would visit my twitter account, you can see some of the great conversations that I had with some of my followers. I love talking with different kinds of people having different experiences in life, as I am not the only one who provides them insight for I am also being provided with new learning that I can apply in my life too. I also appreciate the fact that they have spent some time answering the questions that I have tweeted.

You can expect that you would be able to hear more about me in the future. This is because I have a podcast coming soon together with a YouTube Page. Hopefully, you would have a good time listening to me and the things that I would be sharing. Apart from that, I am also an up and coming author. I am working towards creating a good book to present to those who have always provided me support and has shown appreciation to the efforts I have exerted in making people change their views in life for the better through the things that I have shared with them. Just as you have shown me support before, I hope that you would support me in the future as well.

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

I grew up in Southern Africa, moved to Romford Essex UK at the age of 18.
-Decided to become an artist (for spoken word) as I wanted to touch on what was missing & what people around me wanted to hear

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

The name is my surname (Migogo) with an S at the end, “I’m like a group” (of me & my family) hahahahahha

 

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Yes I do put out for free & I even give out personalised tracks, just to help you (my listener) to get out that “Funk”

 

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

 

Do what’s fun to you (first), and what you’d want to listen to, and what people who matter (in your life) will support & fully agree with you on.

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

 

Being in control, it’s ONLY a mistake when I (the performer) let it be known.

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?  

 

Yes I do tour on a very small scale at the moment as I have my main focus on other avenues to help better expand the msg and the focus forward. I just get great energy & great vibes on all my shows out and about, nothing crazy has happened (as all my msg is about promoting and spreading Love and empowering people). From conversations and what goes on in our day to day. Just speak to an instrumental audio what you need to be heard

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process? 

All my inspiration comes from conversations and what I see and go through, I may twitt or right it down on my phone’s “note pad” & it becomes this idea.

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

 

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?  

-invest most of that time and 400k towards bettering the lives of the less fortunate kids in the townships of Johannesburg, help with they school tuition, see the thru school. Build them after school hang out facilities like indoor football grounds.

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?  

-just a few collaborations, working with seasoned artists in this spoken word genre, in they studios as I don’t have one

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

-Twitter & all across all my social media platforms

 

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?  

Probably Eric Thomas (ET), he has the energy & it would be probably the first time of its kind, having a speaker collaboration, that would be awesome tho

 

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

-I have a podcast coming soon, all in the works, we’ve recorded 5 shows already

 

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?  

-Helping kids in townships

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?  

 

-first CD was a group called “soul for Real” they had soul for Real & Love was the motivation behind all they music and they had soul

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?  

 

-goes hand in hand, as my life is my audio that I speak to my audience
