ADEBIMPE ADEPEJU FUNSO is a Nigerian gospel artiste who has grown through the ranks as a classical singer. She hails from Abeokuta Ogun State. Adebimpe started singing in the choir at the age of eight; she joined the Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries Teenage Choir in 2003 after a concert she attended in the church “Handel’s Messiah” under the leadership of Pastor David Popoola.
She sang her first Solo with the choir in 2005, at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Prayer City with the song Titled; Messiah Baba Mi by Ayo Oluranti. She enrolled for the basic school at the Music Society of Nigeria (Muson), Onikan, Lagos, Nigeria in 2008, she had her first graded exam in voice under the tutelage of Sis Francesca Boyo her voice teacher, she took part in the Music Quest Competition at the Muson Festival in 2008 and emerge the Winner in the vocal category. In 2009 she gained scholarship from the Telecommunication giant MTN, to study diploma in Music and majored in Voice at the MUSON school of Music, and graduated with Merit in 2010. She holds several Muson graded certificates, which includes grade 5 and 7 theory of Music, grade 5and 7 theory in singing, grade 2 in piano playing, grade 5and 7 in voice. She is a member of a Trio group in which she sings the tenor part.
Adebimpe is a singer, song writer and musicologist, a graduate of Music in the department of Creative Art of the prestigious University of Lagos where she bagged a BA in Music. She was among the thirty selected singers to represent Nigeria in the International Society for Music Education (ISME) in Beijing, China. She also participated in the celebration to mark Nigeria’s Independence in 2010 at the Nigerian Embassy in China.
She is a soloist at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, International Headquarters a Church based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Adebimpe Funso is born again and one of the most anointed singer of our time. As a songwriter, she believes in writing from the inspiration of Holy Spirit and has written many songs such as Durotimi Oluwa, Alaafia and many more, she has recorded a single which will be a song in the mouth of many in Churches and homes all around the world. Her ministrations and Music have ministered to millions bringing deliverance, salvation, hope, solution and has become a major socket where souls can connect through while worshiping God. As an international singer serving in Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, International Headquarters, under the platform and mentorship of Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, Adebimpe is uniquely motivated with the desire to see her songs, writings and concerts inspire the church and world at large to worship God with a pure heart and her listeners been filled with the presence and glory of the Almighty GOD through her Music.
She is happily married to her amiable husband and her marriage is blessed with a glorious daughter Iyeoluwa, her life and that of her husband and daughter proves that all power belongs to GOD ALMIGHTY.
