Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

SkateGlobal: I grew up in a small city called Cairo. It’s In Georgia.  When I was young I was always around my cousin who was always in a studio and he use to always make me try to freestyle so I just took that and ran with it.

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

SkateGlobal: Well SkateGlobal came from when I was young you would always see me skateboarding so one of my brothers just started calling me Skate and The Global part came from our squad called GlobalGang.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away  for free? Why?

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

SkateGlobal: I mean just try your best to promote yourself talk to local DJ’s around your area.

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

SkateGlobal: I stop using pen and paper like 3 years. I just listen to the beat over and over I mainly just freestyle on every song and take parts out that I don’t like.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

 

SkateGlobal: First i’ma get my mother a house that’s some I stay telling her then get my family together and do something major & after that i’ma just go get whatever I need.

 

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 

SkateGlobal: I basically just put links out on Twitter and Facebook & Instagram. Which you all can follow me on Twitter & Instagram @skate_global

 

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

SkateGlobal: I mean I drop a new song like every week but I got this new mixtape coming out called “LIFE” not sure when i’ma put it out but I got some crazy features on it so be on the look out for that.

 

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

 

SkateGlobal: Music is like my life I love doing this but ill probably be playing football cause I was the truth on that field.

 

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

SkateGlobal: It’s easy I hit the studio up just about every night no matter what time it is , it been some nights I don’t even get no sleep because I’m up in the studio

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

SkateGlobal: Just be looking for new music and more shows
