Champagne $hadane also known as (derrick Jordan). Is a Recording Artist /Song Writer From the Bronx New York. With a couple a Singles to his belt  Ringing up a Strom “Play my Song & Run up Dem Bandz. Champagne Might be the next thing. Representing PCMG (paper chasers music group ) a team of which him and his close friends are apart of the 20 year old rappers sound is very different from others. With w uptempo turn up. And what he calls the ” champagne mix” his versatility makes him able to switch up his style in different records. With his debut mixtape “Champagne & Chardonnay” on the way the music industry could be in for a surprise .
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Champagne $hadane  : well I grew up I’n the uptown part of the Bronx. Edenwald projects u know just like any other neighborhood u see alot violence you either play ball or go to school . I guess I decided to become a artist because I always been around it my mom was a DJ .I really enjoyed saying words and listening to music so it kinda just stuck to me
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Champagne:Â Ha. Â “Champagne” ? Well I got that name cause I ain’t a heavy drinker I like moet so that kinda just came & ” $hadane”that’s my real name just spiced up lol its spelled “chadaine”
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Champagne:Â I mean I think online music sharing is dope gives u a chance to be heard across the country . I give my music away on sites like SoundCloud because I love to do it I’m not just in it for the fame or anything I love doing what I do making great music just young having fun
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Champagne: Of course. The advice I would give to up and coming artist that want airplay n shows is to just network . make the DJs your bestfriends & try to submit to as many blogs spots u can
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Champagne:  Well I get my songriwriting from everyday Sh** basically what I live , what I been threw , relationships , partying. I just feed off me.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Champagne:Â Â Yea I use SoundCloud, Tidal, YouTube, Facebook , etc. I got a hot single out on iTunes
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Champagne:  Well aint no such things as years off to me I grind . so even if so IMA still be making music lol  , but a half a million I’m flipping that to a million investing striaght up
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Champagne: I got a good team behind me they go hard for me , PCMG that’s the team, that’s the label its more then music. So we try too get it out to everyone we know and just get them to rock w us. You gotta constantly let people know the music is here
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Champagne:  I’m working on my debut mixtape “Champagne & Chardonnay”  I think its gonna be real dope cause I’m working hard. I put a lot a good records together. Alot a different material. Just something you don’t wanna miss lol
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Champagne:  Man to be honest if I wasn’t making music . I’d still be the same me. Just a regular working 9-5 tryna make it some way .
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Champagne:  Well I just try to stay prepared and focused. Especially when I know I got things I gotta take care of I just maintain. As a person u always gone have responsibility Its apart of growing up . its about whwt you make of it
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Champagne:  Everything ! , a lot of champagne , a lot a music ,shows lol . I’m really just tryna have fun and enjoy every momemt w the ones I started with and make great music.
