Exposed Vocals Interviews C-Section

My works of art implement sexual innuendos & dark Humor. I do not write or rehearse. I practice impractical and unrealistic ideas to create catchy hooks and hard hitting tracks. Heavily influenced by 80s music, EDM, swag rappers, drugs, hookers, alcohol, and nightlife. Expect references to country singers, actors, public figures which will be heard throughout most if not all of my content. I practice contemporary freestyle, and double time. I grew up on a farm in the midwest.

 

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

I grew up on a farm in ks. I was always into freestyling, and catching fish. I had a natural talent for it I guess.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

I have a very morbid sense of humor, I always make reference to alcohol or drugs and sexual references and thought C-SECTION was a good choice.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

I deffinately think its changed the game as far as the music industry and made it very easy for artists to be heard. I do not. Just because nothing in life is free.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

I would say building a large fan base and creating a brand.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

I drink alot and generally will freestyle and thats how my songs come to be.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

I currently am working on a album and have some singles that are going to be released later on this year.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

I would pop a few jiggas and go on a trip to oklahoma. I would spend my time catching bullfrogs and noodling for crawdads.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

I mainly used instagram which have allowed me to connect with some very influential people.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Yes I have a retro throwback album coming out sometime within the next few months. I also have 2 singles which im very excited for. Both will be going to ITunes, Spotify, Pandora, ETC. So I am very much looking forward to this.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Partying and laying down mac.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Its not very hard as I enjoy making my art. I generally can just throwback a beer and make a song within a few minutes.

3 albums and alot of features.
