TwoSweet is A independent artist from compton california born on may 20th 1994 he was always very interested in music At such A very young age before he could even walk as A lil kid he always use to freestyle time to time but as life have gotten hard on him growing up in compton with all the gang affiliates and his big brother name Lil wayne killed by gang members in the year 2000 at the age of 16. TwoSweet been written every since 2012 he has high hope on music in hoping one day to help society from all the violence and struggle.
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
TwoSweet: Well I Grew Up In Compton California On The Westside And I Always Had Love For Music At A Very Young Age I Remember My Mother Always Playing The Radio Station And I was About 1 or 1 In A half Just Dancing And Listening To Music.. But Having Started Written Until 2012 As A kid Growing up I Been Going Through A Lot Of Struggle And Stress In Life On Almost Every Type Of Occasion I Needed To Write All My Thoughts And Express Everything I Am Going Through In My Life And What I Am Witnessing As Life Goes On.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
TwoSweet: I Use To Wear A Big Afro All The Way Through High School And People Wer Always Saying That I Look Like This Guy Name Too sweet Who Plays In This Boxing Penitentiary Movie So Everybody In High School Would Call Me TwoSweet So I Stuck With It And Didn’t Want My Name To Be Exactly Like The Actor So I Spell It Different To Be Original.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
TwoSweet: Online Sharing And Giving Your Music Away For Free Is Great For Exposure And I Have Been Giving All My Music Away So Far For Free For 4 Years But If You Are A Independent Artist Like I Am And You Don’t want To Work A 9/5 And Want To Continue To Focus On Your Music And Make A Career Out Of It You Have To Charge Because You Need Music Promotion To Get Your Name out And To Accomplish Whatever You Are Trying To Accomplish In Your Career Which Is Very Expensive Then You Have To Get Your Song Or Album mix and mastered Get A Album Cover And A Whole Lot More You Have To Do It’s Like Paying To House Bills.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
TwoSweet: Well If You Want To Get Gigs You Could Hire Somebody To Find Them For You Or Use Revernation For That Or You Can Create Your Own Gig Rent A Place Out And Promote It Everywhere And Create The Gig Yourself And For Radio Air Play You Have To Mix and Master Your Song And Make It Radio Ready And You Could Have All Your Fans And Family To Request Your Song To Whatever Station To Try To Get Them To Play it Or If You Don’t Have Many Fans Make A Promotion Campaign For It To Try To Get People To Request It In Your Genre.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
TwoSweet: I Get Inspiration From Life And Struggle And Wanting To See All My People In This World Doing Good Wit out Any Worries And My Song Written Process Is Usually Just Me Vibing Out To Beats And Freestyling And Written To Them.

TwoSweet: I Would Invest It Towards My Music And Do Other Great Wonderful Positive Things That I Don’t Want To Talk About Because I Don’t Want To Take Credit For Them.

TwoSweet: With Me Since I Am Not ON A Big Budget I Would Like To Find Blogs To Get My Music Posted On And Run A Lot Of Ad Campaigns At My Budget.

TwoSweet: Well Rn Working On A Mixtape I Don’t Know Wen It’s Going To Come Out Don’t Have Any Release Dates But I Like To Take My Time And Get Every Single Lil Thing Perfect Because Once It’s Out There It’s Out There.

TwoSweet: I Would Be A Firefighter Doing Firefighting.
