Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Betty Chrys: I grew up in Lyon in France. This is my grandfather who was also a singer who made me want to become a singer. I sang with him several times when he was doing concerts in France.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Betty Chrys: One night I was sleeping, I has dreamed that I was singing in front of thousands of people and they cried Betty Chrys. That woke me up. I got up and I wrote the name on a paper. In the morning I called my producer and I told him, that, I found my artist name. I will name myself Betty Chrys.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Betty Chrys: Sharing music is important for to make themselves known. I regularly ofre my music on my social networks. Anyway, every artists nowadays are pirated in one way or another. That is why we sell almost nothing. That’s sad for new artists who are struggling to succeed in music.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Betty Chrys: The Artists who have not signed in a Major must make themselves known and often agree to sing for free in Places that do not match their Musical style. The Festivals accept only Celebrities and put new Artists on the small Stages where they sing without pay. It lacks a Structure for new Talent. I hope someone will one Day have this Idea …
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Betty Chrys: I am inspired to write my Songs with Stories that happen in the World, my Friends and acquaintances around me and also my Life. I write mostly at night when I’m alone and in absolute quiet.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Betty Chrys: If I win this Money, I produce an Album with famous Composers and then I will Finance a Concert Tour in large Venues to promote the Album.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Betty Chrys: I finance the Production of my Songs. Studio Recordings, Video Clips, sending on Internet Platforms. I send to Radios Stations for Promotion and too Televisions. I have an Artistic Agency in French (Fil Rouge Bmg Prod.) who find for me Concerts and Passages Televise.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Betty Chrys: I think to record a new single this Autumn. Do some Concerts in France and also to sing in a Télévision Show in France.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Betty Chrys: If I was not doing Music, I well be Movie Actress . I’ve done some Stage acting in the Theater and I already had a Walk-on Role in a French Film.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Betty Chrys: I have a Family life. 2 Childrens. A Work. I can still have Time for my Music because it’s my Passion. But this does not allow me to Live.

Betty Chrys: My Fans can expect to hear new Songs and come see me in Concert. They will be pleased to see my new Video Clips. I talk a lot on my Network with my Fans. It is very important for me.
