Four years after ‘The Warning’ became Strictly’s breakthrough release, Logic’s Wayne Gardiner returned with vocal cut ‘Blues For You’. Though typical of the contemporary New York garage sound, the staccato rhythms and prominent snares of the Hard Dub mix found ready ears in the emerging UK garage scene and the mix became an enduring classic on the circuit. Spotters might notice a distinct similarity with a certain 24 Hour Experience cut that appeared subsequently on UK label Nice & Ripe.
