Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Ljay: Well I grew up in Belle Glade Fl also known as Muck City most of my childhood years and most of my teen years In the city of West Palm Beach Fl.
I guess its safe to say my lifestyle steered into a more rithmetic motion which later evolved into music.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Ljay: Well I originally went by Lil Jay for little Jean but as I got older I felt me out grow the name as well.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Ljay: Well if I could I would tax a person every chance I get but now a days its nothing to get your hands on new hit singles without paying a dime so hey “if you can’t beat dem join dem” I like free too.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Ljay: I mean I’m still trying to come up myself but consistency and patient is the key.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Ljay: Memory play backs as I said before my life took on an arithmetic motion which then I channeled into words.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Ljay: Well as one not familiar with properly investing such large amount of currency I would go to aprofessional financial advisor immediately.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Ljay: I think music videos is the best approach and it works for me because I feel that it give fans theopportunity to really get to know me as an artist.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Ljay: Well I’m currently working on a new project called Consistency.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Ljay: Some where stressing….music well my music gives me a way to vent more on a verbal stand point and notphysically.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Ljay: Easy its like chewing gum and walking at the same same time you just got to be able to multi task.
