Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

Eli :  when i was younger i watched my older brother kyle rap he put me on my first song that started everything. I grew up in roanoke va a small city where everybody tryna make it at

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

Eli:   Thats my nickname i had a couple rap names i used in my career but they really didnt fit me so i just stuck with eli

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

 

Artist: actually im in a group right now called SBE we have music on soundcloud @sbesounds its free and you can download we also have music on spinrilla

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Eli : keep grinding and promote your music everyday

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

Eli : my songwriting process is the basic i start with the hook . Hooks come easy to me for some reason. Then i work on my verse it take me a minute to write depending on the beat i’m doing,

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

 

Eli – i would  give money to my family and friends and make sure they straight. How would i spend my portion i would save it and stack it up.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 

Eli : honestly twitter i send  our songs to hundreds of people on twitter to look for feedback and more.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

Eli : yeah we have a mixtape dropping hopefully on may 27th thats the day i’m hoping we get signed this mixtape going to have our best work.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

 

Eli:  working honestly music doesnt come first in my life its more of a hobby to me.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

Eli: i dont know .i manage to do someway its alot on my shoulders but i always manage to pull it off.
