Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
CamRob: I grew up in South Central, Los Angeles. I grew up there just me and my mom! I had to overcome a lot of adversity and so I fell in love with music to get me through! My neighbor at the time who records music S/O @HBPRODUKSHINS suggested I start trying to create and add to the culture myself! Started off slow but now I’m on a mission!
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
CamRob: Cameron Is my first name, Robinson is my last! My music is my vision, also my ministry. I use my original name just to show the real me. My journey or my testimony
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
CamRob: Online music sharing is very important! Exposure is a key to making dream a reality. I have released songs that you can listen to for free on soundcloud.com/shtg3. People have to get a vibe or receive some samples before you can start selling right away! I don’t do it for the money as well, inspiration is my occupation!
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
CamRob : I am still starting up & progressing but no one can make drive your dream like you can! I promote via Social Media, I let friends and family know. I look for small business opportunities and performances. Perseverance and Drive is key!
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
CamRob: I try to let Christ always be my focus. Telling stories and revealing my true ambitions is what keeps me flowing. Using lyrics to change perspectives and speak on real topics and subjects. Ultimately to become relatable, so people see a real person not someone who just wants money and fame! My process would be to Listen to a beat, and it’s entirety, I pray & ask God for help & then I put the puzzle together
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
CamRob: I do not have a website yet but I’m working on it. I use soundcloud.com/shtg3 primarily but video coming to my YouTube channel real soon. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Even XBOX LIVE
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
CamRob: FIRST THINGS FIRST I WOULD GO TITHE! After that buy my studio and invest in marketing and further education! Anything to hustle and further my music career
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
CamRob: There is an entrepreneurial side to music. So making sure I’m receiving feedback and exposing my music on the free entertainment platforms that we have today ex: S/O too @ExposedVocals @Soundcloud.com/SHTG3
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
CamRob: Currently just releasing free tracks, to build a fanbase. I am working on a project. Titled “The Influence” hopefully to be finished by this year or early next year. Which I will be selling & giving away free!
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
CamRob: For years I had dreams to play ball. My life changed and I developed faith & a love for ministry. Working so much having to support me & my wife while she pursues her dreams as well. I have little time to spend in the gym but I spend time and receive influence from a developing relationship with God. Making music and using ministry to impact the people
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
CamRob: It’s very very hard but through the grace of God, & the constant strength and blessings he sends me. I am able to go to work & get the job done & come home & try to be the BEST husband I can possibly be. Motivation for my family the current work that I’m doing is going to pave the way for a better future. Looking to the Lord, minimizing distractions, patience and focus gets the job done

CamRob: Fans should look for new music via Social Media. A video production to one of my songs and hoping & praying for “The Influence Project”
