The Debutantes – A New Love Today (1966)

(Lucky Eleven 237-B) (Jan McClellan) One of the greatest female bands, The Debutantes could be considered rivals with fellow Detroit natives, The Pleasure Seekers. Here they are with a fantastic garage record, written by lead member Jan McClellan. The band were featured on the second “Girls With Guitars” compilation on Ace records in 2009 with another top record, a version of “Shake A Tail Feather”. The label Lucky Eleven was the main output for Terry Knight and The Pack, and he even makes an appearance on this record as the role of producer.
