Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

 

I grew up in Swansea, South Wales, United Kingdom…

I decided to become a artist after being introduced to a synthesiser by my cousin Olivier in my teens after messing with his Yamaha DX7 I was really impressed with the sounds it made,  this inturn got me hooked on music technology, the time was the mid 80’s an early 90’s I did a lot of night clubbing and loved the Chicago house sound they were playing in English clubs then and thought I’d love to be able to create House and Electronic sounds they were playing in the clubs then. Move on to 2014, I had enough money to purchase all the synths, drum machines etc and all the gear necessary to produce electronic dance music I also played a bit of piano from back in the day before my music gear got stolen. These days my music gear secure and my piano skills have improved since the 80’s.

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

 

Well I thought I’d use my own name because I thought it’ll be easy to remember and there aren’t to many of us.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

 

 

I’am all for sharing as long as the artist gets paid or it helps the artist like the SoundCloud platform.

It’s early days yet no if I can help it lol!

Well I think the artist deserves something after putting all that hard effort into making the music.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

 

Network, network and more networking after that!

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

 

I gather my inspiration from Dailey events, mystery’s and phenomena.

My songwriting process would usually entail messing with chords on the keyboard until something new crops up putting a bass line and drum beat to it and building the song from there if I haven’t thought of a preconceived idea before hand.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

 

 

Yes iam on the, SONGCAST website.

I use a Twitter, Facebook. Instagram, Amazon, Google Play, Rhapsody, Spotify, I tunes, E music and SoundCloud.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

 

 

Oh that’s easy I’d built my own house and plough the rest into more music an studio gear and another album promotion.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 

 

Social Media and networking seems to work best for me at the moment!

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

 

A second album in the works at the moment.  I’ve mastered three tracks so far it’s sounding really good so far do good it’s a work in progress. Really looking forward to finishing the project.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

 

 

Office work lol!

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

 

I like to set time aside for everything iam very regimental like that!l

Iam always looking for that new sound or chord that hasn’t been heard before.
