Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Olivia Cella: I was born in NYC and then when I was 3 I moved with my family to Zurich, Switzerland for my Dad’s job. We moved back to NYC when I was 6 years old. My Mom immediately signed me and my sister up for private singing lessons, musical theater, and acting lessons. I fell in love with singing and knew right away I wanted to pursue a career in singing and acting. :
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Olivia Cella: Just always be prepared. Take every opportunity you can to mingle, meet industry people and perform. No gig is a small gig! You never know who will be there
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
Olivia Cella: Yes, I have a website. It is www.oliviacella.com Websites are very important if you want to take your singing career seriously. I also use instagram, snapchat, twitter, reverberation, Facebook and musical.ly. Links to all my social media accounts can be found on my website.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Olivia Cella: Wow a half a million dollars! I would move to California and spend my time in the studio singing 24/7. I would also make more music videos.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Olivia Cella: Performing a lot is a great way to promote your music and gain fans. I would also attend as many industry events as possible.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Olivia Cella: I have a new original song releasing soon. The song is called BattleScars. I am super excited about it!
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Olivia Cella: I am naturally a very artistic person so if I weren’t making music I would be creating something else. I love to paint and draw in my free time. I also love to cook! And recently I have been spending a lot of time editing my own youtube videos. I am always looking at new ways to edit and create different graphic designs.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Olivia Cella: You just have to make a schedule for yourself and stay focused. I guess there is a certain amount of discipline involved.

Olivia Cella:Maybe an E.P.? Who knows anything is possible!
