David Ferro – aka Dari 

    is a dreamer and a lover of God and he expresses  his love thru music. 

   He is a familyman with 3 kids and loves his wife who has been a great blessing to him. They are 

called to be a missionary family and David has always wanted to share his brand of music. So after doing some unedited covers in soundcloud, he discovered Exposed vocals and hopes that more people will be encouraged by his special type of music. 

         

 

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an David:

 

David: I grew up in the Philippines and knew from the beginning that music is an integral part of my life. Most of it is used to praise and glorify God thru personal worship time and when I am part of a choir or worship team. I decided to try out soundcloud and sing some covers of my favorite worship songs. Little did I know that some strangers liked it and even some added some of the songs to their playlist. My purpose is to share my private passion in worshiping God so others may do the same.  

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

 I believe in open source and giving music for free, Freely you have received therefore, freely give. (Matthew 10:8)

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or Davids looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

  Network more and make music your passion and your life!

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

After a trial or triumph in my life, I get the guitar and sing whatever comes out from my heart. 

 Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

 I share music thru soundcloud.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

I would invest it into missions and to make sure my children have a secure future thru a great education 

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 Online is the best for me. 

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 Still in the planning stages. 

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

David:  I would be learning to be a Full stack programmer.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

   In life, we need to multitask, and we have been given the ability to do several things at once I believe it is an innate talent.
