Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
D Will: I grew up around Southwest Alief, Houston Texas and what made me become an artist would be my love for music. The love for music made me seek self-knowledge on becoming an artist myself.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
D Will: Well my name is David Williams and I thought D Will would be a good short abbreviation for my full name
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
D Will: Online music sharing is the future of where music is heading now, which is a good thing because it gives up coming artists more room to expanding their music
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
D Will: The best way is to keep pushing towards getting everyone to listen to your music locally first before trying to expand in another area.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
D Will: Everyone makes mistakes you just have to learn from your mistakes and keep going
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
D Will: Well I’m working on touring as soon as I gather enough of a fan base so that I can be able to tour in the present and future.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
D Will: Well I would usually sit by myself and start gathering ideas in my head on the concept which would be what the hook would usually be connected towards and then I would start writing what come up in my head.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?
D Will: Well I’m working on building a website as soon as my music expands more and more throughout Sound cloud.
Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
D Will: Some embarrassing songs would be from the legendary Missy Elliot
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
D Will: Well first I would be using some of that money to start my own merchandise than I would use that money to market me as a artist.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
D Will: Well I’m still in high school which I would say it’s the best time to communicate with other people to moving your music around
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
D Will: I would love to perform anywhere specially with Ol Dirty Bastard because of his high energy level of performance that he contained.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
D Will: My EP that I’m working on also I’m working on a solo Mixtape
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
D Will: I would be working on setting my own business
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
D Will: I don’t I love to focus on one thing at one time than I go to the next task in hand

D Will: I have more projects dropping very soon
