Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

DJ Scob Grow up in Arendal&Grimstad era in south Norway, on Nedenes and Fevik and still live there, ,he says he got all he need there, friends, and nice location near the Beach . its between to citys. so its awesome to live here. When he was a Child he was Dance lessons, and was born dancer dancing alot, and Playing some drums & synth. And Started as DJ at 8years old kid, whit real turntables on child disco club. Then it was DJ at Youth Teen clubs , then started listen more and more to hiphop music gangsrarr, public enemy, ice cube, pete rock cl smooth, etc,
Then 18+ clubs then 20+, then festivals & Music producer making beats & scratching on songs, support dj at live shows on stage, for over 100 artists example like Jeru The damaja, Sicknature of Snowgoons,Sean strange, and many many others RazAnt as official dj, But music production beatmaking last 8years now whit beatpades MPC and Mostly Cubase,Nch,Sony acid,various Music programs, DJ SCOB has been Turntablist his whole life using Rane DJ mixer and Techncis sl1210M5G Turntables , mixing and scratching whit technics1200 and 1210 turntables since day one! And then joined 5 rap groups over the years, Wreckshop feat Kizzo that joined DarkSideOfTheForce first LP , PSA, Unit731, RazAnt, The Shady Corps feat Pace Won, and DJ Scob solo Artist songs, Whit brand new double lp solo album feat many artists, and almost 100 artist collabos last 8years!
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
first my name was dj ghetto bl, ghetto busy leader 😉 so totally back name, but its funny to think about,

DJ Scob is coz when i was on high school dj scob was over the top interested into female /ladys, so they called my scoobidoo
so then he called myself dj scoby, then became DJ SCOB
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

DJ Scob is against people file sharing and steel music, its illegal , he mean is like “if you wrote a book, and gonna sell some books,
But one late at night there comes one man into your house, copy your book, put it online for free,
do you really think many had paid for that book then. mabie then 10%-15%
I have had some songs fro free download on soundcloud, But its ok if the song is free from the artist, and then people can share it, but not songs that are for sale, thats not good.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Be dedicated passion and be better artist even if you get talent, work hard, and people will let you in to their hearts then… people like passion.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

get inspirations to some topics from my own life, and song titles, get from the song he have been workeing on whit another rapper, he get inspiration from the lyrics from the song he just made,
But beats dj scob get inspiration from soul,jazz,funk,disco, blues,country,rock,hiphop, from 30s,40s,50s,60s,70s,80s,90s 00s 10s
, and samling only very old stuff,
Adding His own drums and basslines kick snares highest etc synth samples together mixed up , But old music is DJ Socb big inspiration.when he make music.

would had big problems to stay away from music production that long,
dj scob says he addicted to making music, i problery been on a holiday in spain,
thinking planning missing making new music!

Proberly be on normal dj at clubs and hiphop clubs.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
DJ SCOB Is very hard sometimes to have time, to do other things , music take so much space in my life, so its less time to friends and do other stuff.
