Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

Seçkin: I grew up in Istanbul whic is rather cosmopolitan city with specific cultures. The environment I live in and my family always listened to different artists, songs and genres. From early ages I knew there was something special about music. I was always listening metal pop, domestic and foreign songs when i was going to school or anywhere. I think, I already feel like an artist inside me. I have never decided to be. Drawing, art and music always inspired me to try new things like a song, a picture etc… All of these make me being creative for music.

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Seçkin: I use my own name. It is really original and inspiring for me.

 

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

Seçkin: Sharing music online is a big opportunity to be known with your music and songs whom nobody knows you. This is a gratifying situation reaching more listeners and viewers.

 

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Seçkin:  I am interested in music as an ameteur and I have never had a stage experience but i’d like to try and make my music more professional by various projects. The best thing I can say is that it is all about passion “to never stop”, personal experience and to be in contact with people.

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Seçkin: My mind is always open to creative process. I start each day with music. I watch movies, listen to different genres, draw comics. There is always a melody in my mind that never stops inspiring everything around of me.

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Seçkin: I share my songs on my Twitter, Youtube and SoundCloud accounts. It’s really fantastic to reach new listeners who like your music.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

Seçkin: First of all I would buy musical equipments and i would travel a lot to discover new songs, cultures and stage performances in different countries.

 

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

Seçkin:  I’m sharing my music works on social media and it inspires me.

 

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Seçkin: I have different comics projects in various stories that I have been making its songs for which take my time for a few months.

 

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Seçkin:  I have always enjoyed drawing manga and comics together with making short movies and writing scenerios.

 

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Seçkin: I usually focus on trying new sounds for my projects. I have not so much time to hang out but it is sometimes really necessary going to places to catch new rhytmes.

 

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

Seçkin: I’m planning to complete my new song. I’m working on it these days. When it’s ready i will share.
