Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What
made you decide to become an artist?
Tizz Major: I grew up in a small neihbourhood based in  Johannesburg
South Africa. One of the main reasons I became an artirst was because
of the love I had for music since a very young age aroud 7-8 and
Eminem was the biggest inperation as to the way he placed his life on
record.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your
inspiration behind it?
Tizz Major: The name Tizz was given by a friend witch made it short
for my real name (Tyron) and hw was always amazed by my skill and the
second name I took from my real second name(Magor), becase I just felt
that Im destined for Major things in life aspecialy with my music
career because I always stood out in my hood when it comes to music.

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you
ever give your music away for free? Why?
Tizz Major: It is a easier way to reach a bigger fan base for your
music and for you to keep intouch with fans to give them the
exclusives. I’ve given alot of music in the pass because I had a need
of people hearing my skill and share with many people as they can.

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any
smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some
tips?
Tizz Major: I’d say go for anything even if it is the smallest gig or
radio station airplay you can get it all starts at some point, only
way you can fail is giving up. Even if you not booked for gigs, show
up connect with people and exchange numbers and your music.

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration?
What is your usual songwriting process?
Tizz Major: As an artist I find insperation all over me different
inviroments that I’m in, and can also depend on the mood that im in
that is the best way to express yourself through lyrics in order for
the listner to feel you. Im useaully alone when writing so my thoughts
can go the extra mile.

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do
you use to share your music?
Tizz Major: No I dont have a band website as yet so I use sites like
Reverbnation Souncloud etc. to market my music.

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year
off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Tizz Major; I’d still work cauze I cant stop working but I’d invest
most of that money and build more studios and do some work in the
community.

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works
best for you?
Tizz Major: Doing performance putting it online but airplay works out
proper for exposure.

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you
want to talk about?
Tizz Major; Yes im working on a new project and at this stage I can
only provide the title of the project witch is Midcity King, but do
expect it to be Major.

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Tizz Major: Now that is a hard question to answer because I dont see
maself not doing music hornestly, but still be a business man and run
my barbershop.

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities
while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Tizz Major: As a family man it is very important for me to manage my
time spend time with my son and still be on top of my game, at times
it can be exhorsting at times but as long as Im doing what I love
there’s no stoping.

Tizz Major; The Midcity King Album and Still Major mixtape and dope
music videos from Mr Major later on this year…
