| Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Aaron Kreinbrook: Art has always been an important part of my life as a therapeutic tool and vehicle for self-expression. Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why? Aaron Kreinbrook: The Internet is a convenient and effective way to share music with a wide variety of listeners. All of my music is available online for free listening, and it is also available for purchase. Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips? Aaron Kreinbrook: Master your craft before you seek to share it with others in a professional setting. You increase your chances for success in the competitive market of music-making if you output a high-quality product.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process? Aaron Kreinbrook: My inspiration to write music comes from something within, and beyond, myself. I usually begin the songwriting process with free experimentation on the guitar. This eventually leads to definitive riffs, which I proceed to organize and develop within an overall song structure. Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? How would you spend it? Aaron Kreinbrook: Creating art is a lifestyle and long-term commitment for me. I would choose to make art in any life situation. Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you? Aaron Kreinbrook: I promote my music primarily online through Soundcloud, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and my website. Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about? Aaron Kreinbrook: I have recently released a new instrumental rock album called ‘Dragonfly’. This is easily my best music so far, as it delivers a wide array of emotion through ten hard-hitting songs. Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing? Aaron Kreinbrook: I don’t dare imagine a time when I wouldn’t be making music in some capacity. Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life? Aaron Kreinbrook: Set priorities and be true to them; get organized; have moderation in all things; maintain extreme discipline. Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016? Aaron Kreinbrook: I hope to release new original music before the end of the year. I am also planning to collaborate with other artists to generate a new sound. |
