Yungteck: My name is Donquerius redden I was born in Seminole county .what made me want to become an artist was going through a lot and not having people to tell what I’m going through and I figured that nothing can help more than music.

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

Yung teck: I donquerius got the name yung teck from the older guys who would hang around my family and when I was little the older guys always called me teck .i think my inspiration behind the name yung teck was that people said I wasn’t gonna make It but I had people saying keep trying never give up

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for

Yung teck: I think expanding your music is a good thing because you start to form a bigger fan Page is good on your popularity. I would start giving out more samples of my mixtapes in different areas

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Yung teck: i am looking to do a gig in Orlando Tampa area trying to expand my music

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

Yung teck: i get my songwriting inspiration from when I’m going through something or when something that I went to come to my mind or sometimes I sit outside and think about my family members I usually get ideas random

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

Yungteck: if I had half a million dollars I would give back to the community and I would build a home and pay rent for the homeless and provide them with food and a nice place to stay I would have but I would also spend the money on video shoots and photo shoot and mix tape covers and talk shows I would move my mom out the ghetto. On my days off I would write and focus on albums and giving the fans the music they like

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

Yung teck: i usually share my tracks off SoundCloud and put it on Facebook I tell my friends and family about my music and try to keep my fans where they are on my music

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Yungteck: right now I’m working on my mix tape called straight out the bricks its explaining what i seen and how people changing over the times and the struggle I been through and I’m explaining what I seen growing up as a child

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Yungteck: if I wasn’t doing music I’d probably be working with my god dad or my uncle I would get a normal job and trying something that makes money nothing bad

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

Yungteck: i have a time limit that I set for homework and school time so on the weekends if I’m working on a song I tried to get as much done as I can to maintain a good grade average and keep my music career going

Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?

Yungteck:the fans should be looking for my mix tape straight out the bricks and nothing but the truth and good music
