Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?

 

Rebecca: They contacted me on Twitter

 

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

Rebecca: When I was a little baby, I was in my crib and I started to hum. My mom didn’t know where that was going to take me. So, when I was three years old I started singing nursery rimes and when I was a little girl I started to write songs. Now, I write and sing lots of songs and I hope that one day I will end up like Whitney Houston. she made me to decide to become an artist

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

Rebecca: I came up with the name “Sunshine Valley” my inspiration behind it was Terri Clark the Country Legend

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?

 

Rebecca: Yes I do think about sharing my my music online. I would give my music away for free! because as long as I get noticed

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

Rebecca: Depends on where I’m performing

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

 

Rebecca: If I did ever make mistakes during performances! I would handle it nicely by fixing the problem

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

 

Rebecca: I always wanted to go around the world and tour! Anything that interest my career, fame I would be more excited

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

Rebecca: My best friend Bailey Smith-Doiron writes all of my songs she’s the inspiration that makes my music in process

Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

 

Rebecca: No I don’t have a band website yet but I use SoundCloud to share my music

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

 

Rebecca: “Lucky One” it’s my number1 favourite

Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?

 

Rebecca: I would go buy a money save’s and save up for a recording studio

Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

 

Rebecca: Just doing what I love

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?

 

Rebecca: I find SoundCloud works best for me, because it promotes my music more:)

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?

 

Rebecca: I would perform with Mariah Carey alive and sing “When You Believe” because it’s one of my dreams come true

Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

Rebecca: Me and my Music

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

 

Rebecca: Starting my very own recording studio

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?

 

Rebecca: I belong with a Jewish Tamir Neshama Choir we just made our first CD called “SoulToSole” in my head I thought it would be a good idea if I put my original song on it for everyone to hear and share

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

Rebecca: A lot of ricks but I’m strong enough to do it
