Exposed Vocals Interviews Bilko:
| Dj Bilko began in early 90s, where he was inspired by the electronic music, there one of the pioneers of contemporary techno movement. Late 90 Dj Bilko moved to Frankfurt and played there until today in the hottest clubs on such as Odeon, Sanibar, Sübahnhof. His music ranges from the 80s and 90s to the current House Hits. Dj Bilko always manages to create a very special club sound from all these genres.
Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Bilko: I hear about you on Twitter Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Bilko: In Korbach my hometown I’ve seen a Dj in our club and I found it pretty cool what he was doing with the turntables. So I bought me turntables and practiced very long! In the 90s I started with the new upcoming music called Techno. We did many parts and it was a crazy time. Later I moved to frankfurt and there I played in many clubs. I found this music so cool I wanted produce it by myself. I
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Bilko: My last name is Becker and I played with some variations Bilko was one of it. Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Bilko: I like Soundcloud there you can hear a lot of music! Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips? Bilko: Stay you always faithful, work hard and don’t give up! Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Bilko: I think everyone in this business dos mistakes you can learn from every mistake you did and the important thing is to stay calm! Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Bilko: No I have not made any tour.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Bilko: I try to find a cool melody than I layer it and search sound on my Synths. Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Bilko: Now I work with FL Studio12, Logic x, Sylenth1, Glitch2. Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Bilko: I’m on Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud . Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Bilko: I don’ t have a special artist but it would be cool to play in America… Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
