Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?
Emerson: I met Exposed Vocals on Twitter, after being notified they were following me,I think this really nice!
Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Emerson: What made me decided to become an artist was the fact learn the acoustic guitar alone and soon look for a bass in a Music Shop and be amazed.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
Emerson : This s part of my real name. I chose my last name that sounds better.
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
Emerson: It is a big mistake when the artist has their music for free. Just self depreciating. So my album in digital form or CD, are not free. Who does not pay you 7.99 dollars, will not even fill your HD with your album.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Emerson: To achieve visibility, have a unique name, responsibility and determination, be differentiated in order to have a valued work
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Emerson: Yes, hehe. When they do, the members have to cope without wrangle on stage. However, the mistakes is human, but to persist is lack of seriousness
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?
Emerson: At the moment I’m only seek a drummer who can play the musics of the album.
Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
Emerson: My inspiration for the lyrics is in our madness, as passion, mental instability. For the melodies and other arrangements, inspired me in the art of counterpoint, which comes from the Baroque period. I love to create new grooves. Generally, the song with harmony comes together. The riffs and grooves can come before or since.
Exposed Vocals: Do you have a band website? What online platforms do you use to share your music?

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?
Emerson: I don’t have MP3 player. Only hear musics on my notebook and FM radio in my Car. The latest song “embarrassing” I heard was I “Jéssica Rose”, by Cascavelletes, whose lead singer sadly passed away last month.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
Emerson: To have contact with nature, I would like to stay in Corsica, in France for two monthsand, and thereafter go to Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and New Orleans.
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?
Emerson: I’m already making arrangements for a version of a classic ’80s New Wave! A very nice song!
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?
Emerson: I am promoting my album with paid publications, and now being negotiated with a web radio. Perhaps I intend to partner with Kiss FM.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?
Emerson: Really I don’t have many idols, perhaps with Marian Gold, in New York or Los Angeles, because I consider the “Forever Young” as one of the most beautiful songs, and would like to do a show in this cities.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Emerson: My album “About the Sound of an Ilusion” is the future. A month ago it was published, on a smaller scale. In terms of more effective advertising, it was released this week! In project is to make its release, and make him play on the radio.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
Emerson: I was teaching music I or working as a technician in electricity or soccer player.
Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?
Emerson: Yes. “Cabeça Dinossauro”, by Titãs rock band, from Brasil. At that time I was sure I wanted one bass, one girl, and nothing else.
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
Emerson: I try to resolve soon, to have time for music.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in 2016?
Emerson: Knowing my band, The E.F. band, and go to concerts to hear the songs of my album “About the Sound of an Ilusion”, and a few more surprises, to see the smile on their faces, emotion them, and attract them forever!
