Exposed Vocals: How did you hear about Exposed Vocals? What made you decide to sign up?

 

StunnahBoiz: Really our manager Pocahontas told us about you guys , we did some research and we liked what we seen and how you guys gives upcoming artist a chance to come up.

 

Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?

 

StunnahBoiz: StunnahBoiz are originated from Tallevast Florida and Sarasota Florida. We all knew each other since the first and second grade. We always had a passion for music , we made a couple songs together in middle school and it started to buzz around school. So we decided that we can really pull this off and really do this. Then that’s when we came up with our group today.

 

Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?

 

StunnahBoiz: They’re 3 members in our group. ⅔ were in another group called Tallevast Boyz also known as TVB and the other one was in a group called Young Stunnaz. We combined the group and came up with StunnahBoiz. The name StunnahBoiz represents us in all ways. We dress in the latest fashion and we like to stunt on people.

 

Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why

 

StunnahBoiz: Online music sharing is a new way to give your fans new project of yours. It’s not what it was back then but we have to accept it and go with the flow. Yes , we did give away music for free but the project we working on now, fans going to buy it.

 

Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a star-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artist looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?

 

StunnahBoiz: The best advice someone gave us was to stay focus on your craft, and don’t worry about what they say about your craft because it’s way more people in the world that will like your music and always network with different business or artists.

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?

 

StunnahBoiz: Yes, we do make mistakes during performances. All we do is go back to the footage and find our mistakes and rehearse them until they are perfect.

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

 

StunnahBoiz: No we have not experience touring yet. Thats one of our goals for this year.

 

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?

 

StunnahBoiz: Everything we come up with happens in the Studio. It depends on what type of beat we have and the mood we are in.

 

Exposed Vocals: Do You have a band website? what Online platforms do you use to share your music?

 

StunnahBoiz: Our website is coming soon. We put all our music on Soundcloud our new single “Ballin Like Curry” will be on itunes soon too.

 

Exposed Vocals: What are some really embarrassing songs that we might find on your mp3 player?

 

StunnahBoiz: We don’t have any embarrassing songs , if you do your research on us and listen to our old songs, you will find out that we really been making hit songs since we were young so we just keep them coming.

 

Exposed Vocals: Any studio upgrades? What are you working with now?

 

StunnahBoiz: For now everything we release comes from in-house. We are looking for a studio that matches what we are trying to accomplish.

 

Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you

 

StunnahBoiz: We have our own promotion team behind us and we networking with djs but we can’t give you all our promotions ways.

 

Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artist ( Dead or Alive ) where and who would it be with? Why?

 

StunnahBoiz: It would have to be either the Migos or Kevin Gates overSeas. Overseas is where all the money at and those artist is one of our inspirations.

 

Exposed Vocals: So what’s next? Any upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

 

StunnahBoiz: Right now we are pushing our single “Ballin Like Curry” but at the same time we are working on a mixtape called “ #LOASB “ which stands for “ Life Of A Stunnah Boi “

 

Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

StunnahBoiz: Honestly if we weren’t making music , we don’t know what we would be doing because music is everything to us.

 

Exposed Vocals: Do you remember buying your first album? Who was it? What was going through your head?

 

StunnahBoiz: We all bought Migos “ YRN “ album together Until this day we still listen to it

 

Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?

 

StunnahBoiz: Our manager taught us how to be organized and how to time everything on point.

 

Exposed Vocals: What should fans should look forward to in 2016?

 

StunnahBoiz: Be on the lookout for our new single Ballin Like Curry and our upcoming mixtape #LOASB and be on the lookout for us too.
