The Artist Ren

The Artist Ren is the independent solo project of Lauren Van Houten, working across indie pop, folk and alt pop. She began writing songs in 2020 and releasing music in 2022. Her process often begins with imagined stories, unconventional guitar tunings and subtle samples. Doin’ Fine!, released 18 September 2026, leads toward an album in development.

Campaign shared with Exposed Vocals by The Sound Lab.
