Bad Nerves have released the official video for “Network,” sharpening the single’s attack on the nonstop stream of headlines, platforms and manipulated perception that defines life online.
Pressure at full speed
“Network” leans into the breakneck power-pop punk that has made the Essex band such a physical live presence, but its target is distinctly current. The song treats the modern information cycle as an environment designed to keep people agitated, reactive and unsure of what is real.
The tension builds without sanding down the band’s melodic instincts. Bad Nerves still understand that velocity lands harder when there is a hook at the center of it, and “Network” pushes both sides of that formula with purpose.
A video built for the song’s nervous system
Directed and produced by brothers Donnie Clemson and Bobby Bird, the visual matches the track’s compressed energy rather than slowing it down for a conventional performance piece. It arrives as the first signal of the band’s next chapter following their second album, Still Nervous.
Back to North America
The release also sets up a North American run beginning September 18 in New York. Bad Nerves will move through headline dates, CityFolk, CBGB Festival and Austin City Limits, with select shows supporting Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter.
Stops include Montreal, Toronto, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit, Columbus, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Houston and Dallas before the run reaches Austin on October 11.
