Pre-Status Quo, recorded in session for Radio 1’s “Saturday Club” on 24th June 1967, hosted by Brian Matthew. A cover of a single by The Anteeeks from Kilmarnock, Scotland.

This is the full version, omitting Matthew’s commentary, but including the verse and guitar solo cut from the official version included on the deluxe version of Quo’s 1968 debut album “Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo”.

This is a vinyl transfer from the Zonophone 7″ yellow vinyl bootleg “Traffic Jam”, which also included “It Takes Two” and “Almost But Not Quite There” from the same session.
