Lyrics:
I dreamt in kelidascope light
As we faded into the night
She tried to capture the sun
But it wouldn’t stay for long
In a haze I lost her gaze
So I guess I set her free
She will find that heart of hers
In the depths of the sea
As the days passed long and slow
She felt her heart grow cold
So she searched for someone
To help her mind grow strong
Though I left her long ago
I felt her presence grow
As I waded into the sea
She was staring back at me
She held my hand with grace
As our fingers interlaced
I will show her the ways of the world
And watch her hair unfurl
That morning I drew a map
Of the things I can’t make sense of
But the ink just clouded my eyes
So I lay them to rest
And as I awoke
The ink had stained my cheeks
So I held you longer than I could
In our home stuck in time
