ReverbNation v2: Hundreds of Artist Opportunities, Now With EPK Priority
What it is: ReverbNation’s Opportunities marketplace connects independent artists with festivals, labels, licensing companies, radio, publications, conferences and other industry partners looking for music.
Who it’s for: Artists with finished music and a professional press kit who want to apply to specific opportunities rather than sending blind outreach. ReverbNation says it runs more than 700 industry opportunities per year across categories including sync, festivals, labels, radio and publications.
How it works: Artists submit a track or live performance to opportunities that match their sound and goals. ReverbNation reviews the submission, passes qualified entries to the organizer, and selected artists are contacted directly. Its new v2 dashboard now prioritizes artists who are “EPK-ready,” which makes profile quality matter even more.
Worth knowing: Not every opportunity is free, and not every listing will fit every artist. Read the requirements before applying, check territory and genre restrictions, and avoid paying for opportunities that do not clearly explain what is being offered.
EV move: Before submitting, make sure your public artist identity is clean: current photo, concise bio, strongest release, working links and recent coverage. That same preparation strengthens your Exposed Vocals profile and professional footprint.
