Left 4 Dead – Split Personality
Hailing out of Rockford Illinois comes left 4 Dead. With their
pulverizing rhythms, thundering bass lines, fast paced drums and their
heavy rhythmic, yet melodic vocals appealing to music lovers across the
board.
Left 4 dead began in Dec. of 2002 with original drummer Scott McBride,
bass player Bill Clark and guitarist Shane Briggs who together formed a
high energy in your face rock. Finding the puzzle piece to complete the
band was easier than they thought when Shane brought in Bud Powell on
lead vocals , with his aggressive yet melodic thought-provoking lyrics
he brought something incredible to the plate.
The four piece had come together but didn’t fit exactly right until
they brought in new drummer Scottie Thorne, now the puzzle is finally
complete ready to conquer the music scene and take it by surprise. Left
4 Dead has played with such acts as Slaves on Dope, Agent Zero, The
Heavils, Lollipop Lust Kill, The Blank Theory, Factory 81 and No One.
They have shared the stage with many other talented bands but have
stuck out above the rest with their incredible stage presence that
keeps you coming back for more.
They have been inspired by many bands, but to name a few are 40 Below
Summer, Mudvayne, Darwins Waiting Room and Black Sabbath. Left 4 Dead
plan to keep pumping out their trademark sound far into the century.
