Finn Forster – Broken Game (Official Video)

We filmed this visualiser whilst supporting Stereophonics around Europe. We played 12 shows across 6 different countries and during one of our long van journeys our videographer Adam posed the idea of creating this video. We used the different locations and BTS content to create this, shooting clips spontaneously on days off and with he odd hour here and there before sound checks.

It took a lot of extra work around what was already a hectic schedule but I’m so glad we did it as it’s something that can never be replicated.

The cinematic shots were filmed at 4 different locations:

– A late night carousel ride in Strasbourg

– Cathedral shots at Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg

– The stunning park in Lyon, Parc de la Tête d’Or, and

– The Royal Palace of Madrid

The BTS shots were taken across the entire tour and we played shows in Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Zurich, Lyon, Barcelona, Madrid and Milan.

My all time favourite thing as a creative is working with other like minded creatives and seeing an idea grow into the final product. This video is now, not just a music video for ‘Broken Game’ but a time capsule for one of the best experiences in my career so far.

For me it perfectly captures the beautiful chaos of international touring while showcasing back drops and scenery that would never have been possible to film with without us making use of the locations we were in on the road.
