Music Review for BabyDol’s hit single XO
There must be something magic in this land. Every corner of the world has its own signature music, art and literature, but Mississippi has a depth of cultural richness that few regions can rival. Known as the “Birthplace of America’s Music,” Mississippi has literally shaped the course of modern music with its contributions to blues, jazz, rock, country and gospel. Mississippi writers helped define the character of 20th century American literature, and Mississippians continue to have a significant influence on the traditional and performing arts to this today.
So. lets talk about BabyDol and her hit new single XO that is currently making the rounds around Atlanta, GA FM Radio:
This is a very accomplished piece of modern R&B; faultlessly played, recorded, mixed and produced. It is refreshing and edifying to hear that this kind of music is still being made in an era of dwindling sales and closing music studios, but there will always be a demand for quality among true music aficionados.
Overall, this is an excellent R&B track that is suitable both for the clubs and radio, with the catchy chorus making it particularly suitable for the latter. Having already amassed a considerable fanbase, I think its only a matter of time before BabyDol breaks through to the upper echelons of the R&B charts with songs as good as this.
