Music Review and Interview with Pastor Reese
Reese, an up and coming gospel singer, hailing from Carrollton, Alabama, has an anointed voice that has been touched by God himself. His ability to be versatile in his singing allows him to reach all age groups with spiritual praise and uplift. His music ministers to the heart and souls of those who stand in need of prayer, or who simply love the words of God. His gift is amplified by his devotion to Christ, and his love for music.
Reese has been singing since the tender age of five. He has been a faithful steward to the Lord. Before moving to New Orleans, his church home was Victory FWP Church in Alabama, Pastor Minnie Hudgins presiding. While at FWP he served as Asst. Pastor, Superintendent for IFWPC of America; Conference and Church musician. He has sung lead with Community Choir in Salt Lake City, UT. He was Director of the Independent Freewill Pentecostal Churches of America. He has sung Gospel in talent events at Bevill State Community College in Fayette, AL. He was the musician for African American Gospel Choir. He has sung gospels songs for weddings in places such as New Mexico, Alabama, and Georgia. He has been a part of ministries in Chicago and Indiana. The list is long, but the work is not yet done.
Reese has served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He obtained his Under Grad Degree from the University of Alabama, and his Graduate Degree from University of West Alabama.
Also, he is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Music Review:
After a slow summer in Carrollton, the music scene is re-emerging as fall is just around the corner. Local hangout spots are reviving with live music and patronage seeking the different sounds of Carrollton music.
However, the state boasts a much broader music scene than merely the home of the famous “Muscle Shoals Sound”; musicians including Hank Williams, Nat King Cole, and the Louvin Brothers; and more recent ones including Matthew Houck of Phosphorescent, A.A. Bondy, most of the Drive-By Truckers, The Dexateens, sisters Shelby Lynne and Allison Moorer, and Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee all share a connection with the Yellowhammer State.
So, let’s talk about Pastor Reese and his hit new single ” I won’t complain” – There is a great sense of momentum with this track and a great burst of rich soulfulness. It’s consistently impressive and enjoyable body of work that has been recorded and produced to perfection.
Overall, our hope is that this will lead to the widespread recognition Pastor Reese deserves, though I think will be best appreciated by people who know true musical class when they hear it. I recommend that everyone gives it a good listen, you’ll be rewarded for your time!
