Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
I grew up in Fort Myers Florida and starting rapping the summer going into my senior year in high-school. Two of my homeboys had a rap group at the time that was very popular and I wanted to be apart of it.
Exposed Vocals: How did you come up with that name? What was your inspiration behind it?
My cousin gave me the name. My initials are J.B. and after the movie Friday came out with Deebo it he just added an O to make J-bo. And later I added Yung Don because I’m like a Yung Don in my family my older cousins and uncle’s would be protective of me like a made man “Don”!
Exposed Vocals: What do you think about online music sharing? Do you ever give your music away for free? Why?
I think it’s great, I pretty much allow free downloads all the time just so listeners could get familier with me and my music.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?
Just continue to work and practice on your craft. Don’t give up and stay hungry!
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?
Yes, but just improvise keep your energy and continue your flow!
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?

Exposed Vocals: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration? What is your usual songwriting process?
From either life events or artists I look up too. I just usually listen to a beat get a feeling for the track and start writing.

Nothing really.
Exposed Vocals: If you were given half a million dollars and a year off, what would you do? How would you spend it?
I would vacation with my family, pay off bills and pay my kids college tuition! Then back to the studio Lol!

Yes definitely gonna get pro tools 11 and get back on the grind recording!

Mainly just online now it’s been reaching thousands of listeners with great responses!

2pac he’s my favorite and has the most influence on my music.
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Just focus on recording and finishing up my project.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?
My other passion was sports maybe I would’ve focused more on basketball then music and tried to make it to the nba.

Back then singles were popular to buy and it was Mc Lyfe cappuccino on cassette tape! Just loved her style and music!
Exposed Vocals: How do you juggle the rest of your responsibilities while trying to stay ahead in your music life?
It’s hard I work full time I have a wife and 2 kids so my music always gets deprived of time! I need to find more time for my music!

A complete balance album for the listeners bringing back real rap!!!!
